PDP chieftain Umar Sani has alleged that FCT Minister Nyesom Wike told Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed during a private meeting that there would be no reconciliation and that he intended to keep everything he had gained from the party crisis.
Speaking in an interview with Arise TV, Sani said, “When Bala decided to speak openly, he said he met Wike, they had a discussion, and Wike told him there would be no reconciliation and that he was going ahead with the convention and would not sacrifice any position. He would take everything, because he is the conqueror. We were left wondering — what kind of conqueror is he? A conqueror of political parties? A conqueror of Rivers State? Or a conqueror of the Nigerian judiciary? Which conqueror is he?” he said.
Sani argued that Wike’s declaration effectively closed the door on any further negotiation, leaving the opposition faction with no option but to pursue the matter through the courts. .
