Nigerian lawyer and human rights activist, Prof Chidi Odinkalu has taken to his official X account on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 to react to the comment that a supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu made about former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala in 2011.
In the post that surfaced online, the supporter criticized the former President of Nigeria and Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala over the exchange rate of British pounds to naira. He described Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala as a third class economist and called Goodluck Ebele Jonathan an illiterate.
The supporter wrote;
“This is what you get when third class economist like Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and illiterate President govern”.
