Speaking during an interview on Arise News, a senior chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Faruk Adamu Aliyu, shared his views on political zoning and party expectations ahead of future electoral cycles.
In his remarks, he referenced President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, highlighting expectations within the party regarding continuity and future transitions.
He explained that such expectations are part of broader discussions within political circles about stability and fairness.
He said, “Now Tinubu has spent four years. We hope he will spend another four years, and after that, the APC will zone it back to the North.”
Aliyu noted that zoning arrangements are often aimed at promoting unity within the party by ensuring that different regions have the opportunity to participate in leadership at the highest level.
