Israeli Weapons Firm Elbit Systems’ Factory Set Ablaze In Czech Republic

According to a report by Anadolu Agency on Friday, March 20, 2026, a factory operated by Israeli defense company Elbit Systems in the Czech Republic has reportedly been set on fire, with a group identifying itself as “Earthquake Faction” claiming responsibility for the attack.

In a statement released on Friday, the group said it carried out the incident on March 20, targeting what it described as a key hub of Israel’s weapons industry in Europe. The facility, located in Pardubice, was referred to by the group as a “Centre of Excellence” established to support the global operations of Elbit Systems, one of Israel’s largest arms manufacturers.

According to the statement, the attackers claimed they deliberately targeted equipment within the factory and set the premises ablaze. The group asserted that the action was part of a broader campaign against infrastructure linked to Israel’s defense sector. It also stated that no injuries were recorded during the incident.

Earthquake Faction, which describes itself as an “internationalist underground network,” said its actions were motivated by opposition to Israel’s military activities, particularly in Palestinian territories and across the wider Middle East. The group accused Elbit Systems of producing weapons that are allegedly tested in conflict zones before being exported globally.

In its message, the group used strong language to justify the attack, framing it as a response to ongoing violence in regions affected by Israeli military operations. It further claimed that companies associated with the defense sector would remain targets of similar actions.

The statement also rejected diplomatic or political engagement as a means of addressing grievances, instead vowing continued direct action against what it called “sponsors of occupation.” The group warned that entities linked to the production and distribution of weapons would face further disruption.
