One of the leaders of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, and a former legislator who served Kogi West Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Dino Melaye has responded to a widely shared video of King Charles communicating with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Senator Dino Melaye’s response was shared in a message on his official X account on March 19, 2026.
This follows President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s trip to the United Kingdom to meet King Charles.
In the video that appeared online, the King addressed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in pidgin language. He praised Nigeria as a nation that never finishes last.
Here is what King Charles expressed;
“I can only wish you and the millions of Muslims in Nigeria and our country Eid Mubarak. And in doing so, let me propose a toast to the President and people of Nigeria.”
