According to a video posted by Daily Trust on its official X account on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain Emmanuel Ogidi boldly declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the most powerful president in the world, surpassing even U.S. President Donald Trump in influence.
In the widely circulated clip, Ogidi argued that Tinubu holds greater strength than the American leader because of his commanding control over Nigeria’s Senate. He contrasted this with the U.S. system, where the president lacks similar authority over the Senate.
Ogidi stated:
