A social media commentator, Geh Geh, has sparked fresh political debate after declaring that Peter Obi stands no chance of defeating President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
The commentator made the statement in a viral video where he outlined four reasons for his claim.
He argued that Obi lacks a strong political structure and does not have a clear operational plan to turn his ideas into electoral success.
According to Geh Geh, many Nigerians are still confused about Peter Obi’s present political standing. He said there is uncertainty over the party platform Obi intends to use going into the next election cycle.
He contrasted this with what he described as Tinubu’s well-organised political network. Geh Geh pointed to early mobilisation, visible campaign-style movements, and strong grassroots engagement as signs that the ruling camp is already preparing for 2027.
In the video, Geh Geh said in part:
“Peter Obi can never win Tinubu and I’ll give four reasons. Number one, he does not get structure.
Peter Obi does not get structure. He na leader way get vision but he not get path on how to reach that vision. Many people up till now never know the political party where Peter dey.
“They don’t know if whether hin dey ADC, PDP, they don’t know the political party. While Tinubu on the other hand, you see say, him vision they very, very clear. Now election never reach o, they don’t start campaign already.
“You see all the city boy movement, structures don they on ground, people don’t they on ground, bodies, personalities. They don they empower people to do the needful thing. While Peter Obi is more of the social media type of person….”
