18hrs After The Oriire Pupils Regained Their Freedom, Atiku Has Not Rejoiced With Tinubu – Onanuga

Bayo Onanuga, the senior special adviser on Information and Strategy to President Tinubu has voiced his displeasure over the silence of Waziri Atiku Abubakar on the release of the Oriire school children and their teachers.

According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle on Saturday July 11th, 2026 he pointed out that almost a day after the children were rescued, the former vice president had not rejoiced with president Tinubu.

It can be recalled that the social media space was awash with jubilation as reports of the release of the school children and their teachers gained traction across various media platforms.

While many commended security agencies and the president Tinubu led administration for securing the release of the children, the ADC presidential candidate was relatively silent.

Bayo Onanuga, in his statements, blasted the former vice president for remaining silent after he weaponized the abduction against President Tinubu’s administration.
