Wike: Those Who Have Been Accusing Us Are Correct, It’s High Time We Dealt With Him- Emmanuel Ogidi

National Vice Chairman of the PDP, Emmanuel Ogidi, has said that it is time for the party to take action against the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

During an interview with Arise TV, Ogidi acknowledged that many people have accused the party of failing to act despite Wike’s actions against it.

The PDP chieftain admitted that those criticisms are justified and said the party must now address the issue.

Ogidi’s comments followed Wike’s reaction to a Federal High Court order in Abuja that stopped the PDP from holding its planned national convention in Ibadan, Oyo State, on November 15 and 16.

Ogidi criticized Wike for not participating in party activities, noting that although Wike is a member of the PDP’s NEC, he has not attended any of their last three meetings.

He said Wike often relies on hearsay and does not know what is happening within the party. According to Ogidi, the party has been patient long enough, but now it is time to act.

He said, “We are evaluating ourselves. Some of these members don’t even attend meetings. They don’t even know what’s going on. The minister that’s talking now is a member of NEC. Has he ever attended any NEC meeting? We held three NEC meetings; did he attend any one? He believes in hearsay. People are even accusing us of not dealing with him. Those who have been accusing us are correct. In fact, it’s high time we dealt with him (Wike).
