When The People Marched On The Streets Of Abuja, The Emperor Was Nowhere To Be Found’ – Dele Momodu

Chief Dele Momodu, a well-known journalist in Nigeria, has implied disapproval of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike on social media.

Today, Thursday, August 1, 2024, Chief Dele Momodu posted to his official Instagram page, revealing that as the people marched majestically through the streets of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the emperors and their acolytes were conspicuously absent, despite threats and boasts made by some power-hungry leaders on television.

Our advice to the president of our nation was met with abuse. Some inebriated politicians went so far as to boast and threaten demonstrators on television, saying that Abuja was off-limits.

However, today the populace swarmed FCT’s streets in a beautiful procession, while the emperors and their minions were conspicuously absent.
