Veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has continued to share shocking revelations about her troubled marriage, describing her late husband as a man with a violent temper and unpredictable behavior.
Speaking further during her appearance on Ayo Adesanya TV on Thursday, October 23, 2025, Nwosu said her husband’s rage often turned volcanic, revealing that she once intervened to stop him from assaulting his own father: “You will think that even if you put water in my husband mouth, you will meet the water. No, he’s not calm. When he’s angry, he’s like a volcano. He erupts.”
The actress recounted a disturbing moment when she risked being beaten to protect her father-in-law from her husband’s fury: “Somebody that have witnessed him wanting to beat the father. I use myself as a shield that day. I said, ‘No, it’s better you beat me.’ Which one is your father?”
Nwosu, reflecting on her marital experience, described marriage as unpredictable and full of lessons—some bitter, others tolerable: “Ah, it has not it has not been a bed of roses when you talk about um marriages. Yeah. To me, I believe marriage is an institution where you learn to be or not to be.”
She likened marriage to a gamble, using a vivid metaphor to express how couples only discover the truth of their union after entering it: “Marriage is something that it’s like when you go to the market and buy folded pap you don’t know what you will meet inside because some of those pap some the edges may be rotten.
