According to Daily Post Nigeria, Saudi Arabia and Qatar have issued strong warnings to Iran following reported missile strikes across parts of the Gulf, vowing to stand firmly with neighbouring states and respond decisively if necessary.
The reaction comes amid heightened regional tensions after Israel and the United States carried out military operations against Iran, triggering fears of wider instability in the Middle East.
In an official statement, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry denounced what it described as clear acts of aggression that infringed on the sovereignty of several Gulf and Arab nations, including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan.
Riyadh stressed that it stands shoulder to shoulder with the affected countries and is prepared to provide full support for any defensive steps they choose to implement.
The Kingdom warned that continued violations of national borders and disregard for international law could lead to serious repercussions, underscoring the gravity of the situation.
Qatar also strongly criticised the reported missile attack on its territory, characterising it as a direct breach of its sovereignty and territorial integrity. In a statement released in Doha, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the incident as a dangerous escalation capable of undermining regional peace and security.
