Uzodinma Has Aligned With Fubara Who Now Has Tinubu’s Ear, Wike Played Into His Enemies’ Hand-Barrister Ozor Nnadiume

Barrister Ozor Nnadiume, a constitutional attorney, remarked that Governor Siminalayi Fubara has secured a significant political edge in his dispute with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.

In an interview with Afia News, Nnadiume noted that Governor Hope Uzodinma, a close ally of President Bola Tinubu, has now aligned himself with Fubara, who recently switched to the APC. This new relationship grants Fubara direct and quicker access to President Tinubu, which he previously lacked.

 

Nnadiume acknowledged that while Wike still holds political relevance, he inadvertently weakened his position by clashing with a young military officer, Yerima. This incident has resulted in Wike gradually being pushed to the sidelines by Tinubu.

As Nnadiume put it: “Fubara has joined the APC, and now there is a strong ally of Tinubu in the Southeast in the form of Hope Uzodinma, the governor of Imo State. He is also the coordinator for the Renewed Hope 2027 campaign, which is Tinubu’s platform. Uzodinma has aligned himself with Fubara, enabling Fubara to have Tinubu’s attention at a moment’s notice, unlike before. Wike is still in the political arena, but he has played into the hands of his adversaries.”
