Buba Galadima, a member of the NNPP, has stated that shortly after Bola Tinubu became president, he invited Rabiu Kwankwaso for a meeting. He said Kwankwaso was not willing to honor the invitation at first and said he would not go.
In an interview with Trust TV, Galadima said he and others advised Kwankwaso to accept the invitation. He said they managed to convince Kwankwaso to go and hear what President Tinubu had to say. He stated that they also told him that if he did not agree with what the president said, he should simply express his dissent
In Galadima’s words: “Tinubu said he wanted to see Kwankwaso. We advised him to go, he said no. We said ‘The President of country whether he is elected or forced on the country he is the president of the country, he said you should come so go and listen to him, if you don’t agree with what he said tell him no.
