This U.S-Israel-GCC Ground Operations Need Much More Than A Miracle To Succeed” —Adamu Garba

A Nigerian political commentator, Adamu Garba II, has sparked fresh debate over the escalating Middle East tensions, warning that any planned ground invasion of Iran by the United States and Israel could lead to catastrophic consequences.

In a statement shared on his verified social media account, Garba claimed that Washington and Tel Aviv are preparing to deploy nearly 12,000 elite troops into Iran, describing the alleged move as a “suicidal mission” with little chance of success.

He further alleged that the proposed operation is being financially backed by Gulf states, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Kuwait. According to him, such a coalition effort would still fall short against Iran’s extensive military strength.

Garba emphasized that Iran possesses a formidable force structure, estimating about 650,000 active soldiers alongside 250,000 paramilitary personnel. He added that when auxiliary and affiliated forces are considered, Iran’s total military manpower could approach two million.

Based on these figures, he argued that any ground-based military campaign would face overwhelming resistance, both strategically and tactically. He maintained that Iran’s terrain, combined with its entrenched military networks, would make a conventional invasion extremely difficult to execute successfully.

The comments come amid rising tensions in the Middle East, with increasing exchanges of threats and military actions between Iran and Israel, as well as growing involvement from global and regional powers.

While Garba’s claims have not been officially confirmed by any government, his remarks reflect broader concerns among analysts about the risks of escalation and the potential human and geopolitical costs of a full-scale ground war….See More
