A video that was posted on the official X account of ARISE NEWS on Monday, September 15, 2025 has captured the moment one of the chieftains of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, Buba Galadima was advising the current govenment not to nominate former Court of Appeal judge as the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
According to the video that surfaced online, Buba Galadima said there are rumors that the Tinubu’s govenment wants to consider the former judge.
Buba Galadima said the ex judge is known for notoriety and it will be a big mistake if the government considers the judge.
According to Buba Galadima;
“Come November, there are rumours all over the place that this government is nominating a just retired Court of Appeal judge who is known for notoriety to be the chairman of INEC. I wish it is not true.
