Lauretta Onochie, a Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC and former presidential aide has made a striking comment regarding the chances of the APC in 2027. According to the statements which were shared on her official X handle, she pointed out that the APC will face a tough challenge.
The recent realignments within the Nigerian political space had sparked enthusiasm amongst the populace, with the African Democratic Congress, ADC now viewed as a major force.
However, Lauretta Onochie, a prominent member of the ADC and erstwhile special adviser to former President Muhammadu Buhari in a recent statement, pointed out that the ADC was now ahead of the ruling APC.
According to the statements which were shared on her official X handle, she pointed out that the APC, once a powerhouse, has been relegated to the shadows as former president Muhammadu Buhari’s network had aligned with the ADC.
She further pointed out that even in death, the former president remained relevant, pulling the strings within the political space, which had made the renewed hope branch of the APC to be afraid.
Quoting the comments of respected Elderstateman and founder of Ovation Magazine, Chief Dele Momodu, she disclosed that the famous political engine that propelled Muhammadu Buhari to victory in 2015 were now all aligned with the ADC.
