The footage, shared by account @TrendingEx, shows a female police officer interacting with 22-year-old Nairelis del Mar González Ávalo outside a metro station. During the conversation, the officer was seen handling her service weapon casually. The firearm discharged at close range, striking González Ávalo in the abdomen and hip area.
According to reports at the time, the victim was rushed to hospital and survived after receiving medical treatment. Authorities immediately described the event as a “regrettable accident” and announced that an internal investigation had been launched into the officer’s conduct.
