Several reactions have trailed what former Kaduna lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani told those asking Igbo people to leave Kaduna state and return to their state.

This statement was contained in a post that the former Kaduna lawmaker shared on his official X handle on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

In the post that Senator Shehu Sani shared on his page, he said those asking Igbo people to return home should leave them alone. He said the people are doing fine in Kaduna state.

Here is what Senator Shehu Sani wrote on his official X handle;

“I will advise some of their tribesmen calling on them to return home to stop wasting their time. You cannot be renting a room in Manchester or Minneapolis and telling a man with shopping malls and estates in Kaduna or Kano to return home. We are ok together here”.
