Social media users have taken to their official X account to react to the statement that was made by former Kogi lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye after he saw a result sheet that was allegedly altered to favour the All Progressive Congress, APC in the Abuja Municipal Area Council Election.
Dino Melaye shared the result on his official X account on Sunday, February 22, 2026.
In the result sheet, the All Progressive Congress, APC was given 86 votes while the African Democratic Congress, ADC was given 20 votes.
Reacting, the former Kogi lawmaker stated that some of the result sheets that were altered were uploaded to the portal of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
Here is what Dino Melaye wrote on his official X account;
“Some altered results of the AMAC election were even uploaded to the INEC portal. This is why the NASS accepted the manual coalition. Only APC numbers were edited. Undemocratic”.
