According to a report by The New Telegraph on Saturday, December 20, 2025, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele, founder of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, has released his 2026 prophecies, warning of major political and global developments ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general election.
The prophecies were unveiled on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the church’s headquarters in Oke Afa, Lagos, during a press briefing attended by journalists.
The 142-page compilation, titled “2026 Prophecy and Beyond,” focuses on Nigeria’s political landscape, governance, security, and global affairs.
According to Ayodele, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will face strong resistance from influential northern leaders in 2026.
He said the North would become divided over Tinubu’s leadership, warning that some key northern figures close to the president may not be sincere in their support.
The cleric also spoke on former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, cautioning that attempts would be made to blackmail and politically undermine him ahead of future elections. Ayodele advised Atiku to remain vigilant and prepared for intense political pressure.
On anti-corruption efforts, the prophet predicted a major crackdown by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), stating that several high-profile politicians would be exposed.
He added that those affected would unite in opposition against the EFCC chairman, Ola Olukoyede.
Beyond Nigeria, Ayodele warned of shifts in global power dynamics, linking possible international instability to the policies and actions of United States President Donald Trump.
He also urged prayers against tragic incidents, including potential plane crashes involving prominent figures.
Ayodele’s media team highlighted his past predictions, citing political changes in Africa, economic challenges in Nigeria, and legal troubles of top officials as examples of fulfilled prophecies.
