Onochie Reacts After Bandit Leader Was Captured Dressed With Heavy Ammunition During Peace Talks

Lauretta Onochie, a prominent member of former president Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet and one of the strong voices within the ADC coalition recently reacted after a bandit leader whose identities were withheld was captured dressed with heavy ammunition during a peace talk in Katsina State. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, she pointed out that the young ones watching from the background will admire and aspire to be like him.

Many were left stunned after a bandit leader whose identities were not ventilated to the general public was captured dressed with heavy ammunition during a peace talk at the Faskari local government area of Katsina State on Monday.

The peace negotiation, which was meant to bring a lasting solution to the incessant attacks across the state, turned into a show as the bandit leader and his team turned heads with their outfits.

Reacting, Lauretta Onochie, a strong voice within the ADC coalition and former presidential aide in a recent statement which was shared on her official X handle, lamented over the message being passed across by the bandits and those who engaged with them.

According to her statements, she pointed out that the young ones watching from the background will admire and aspire to be like the bandits, given that they were allowed to interact freely with the leaders whom she believed were romancing with the bandits.

From the photos which she shared, the bandit leader can be seen dressed in a striking regalia, with rounds of ammunition dropping across his chest.
