A young woman, who chose not to reveal her identity, has recounted her terrifying experience in the hands of the notorious “One Chance” syndicate operating in Abuja.
The gang, known for disguising as commercial vehicle operators, continues to terrorize unsuspecting passengers in the Federal Capital Territory.
Narrating her ordeal, the victim said she boarded what appeared to be a commercial vehicle, only to discover too late that it was controlled by criminals.
According to her, things quickly turned violent after the vehicle set off.
In an exclusive interview with Lucky Udu Experience, she stated, “The guy in the front seat jumped on me and started hitting me, forcing me to go down. He held my two hands behind my back and sat on me. I was still trying to see how I could escape before he brought out a teaser and tased me with it,” she recalled.
She explained that the gang subjected her to severe physical assault while threatening her life.
The victim, still visibly shaken, said the incident has left her traumatized, adding that she was lucky to have survived what could have ended tragically.
Residents of Abuja have repeatedly raised concerns about the rising cases of “One Chance” attacks, especially in areas like Nyanya, Kubwa, Gwarinpa, and along the airport road.
Despite several police crackdowns, the criminal syndicate remains active, preying mostly on women and lone passengers. See, More, Here>>>>
