Obi: He Said He Never Sat With Abacha, They Produced Photo Where He Was Taking Tea With Abacha -Adeyemi

Senator Smart Adeyemi has stated that he does not see Peter Obi as someone who should be president of Nigeria.

In an interview with Channels Television, Adeyemi said his reason is that Obi once lied publicly about his relationship with the late military ruler, General Sani Abacha. He said Obi had denied ever sitting with Abacha, but later, pictures surfaced showing him having tea with Abacha.

Adeyemi also said he has never heard Peter Obi present any clear or practical idea on how to revive Nigeria’s economy. He stated that Obi has not come up with any convincing plan or economic theory that shows he can deliver the country from its current challenges.

In Adeyemi’s words: “This is man who lied on television. He said he never sat with Abacha before or with military government. They produced the picture where he was taking tea with Abacha”
