Daniel Bwala, the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Policy Communication has stated that the former governor of Anambra state and Labour Party, LP, candidate in the 2023 presidential election, Peter Obi has never given beyond N50 million.
This statement was contained in a viral video that was shared on his official X handle on Monday, September 15, 2025.
He made the statement while speaking during a question and answer session on a program with popular media host, Nedu Wazobia.
In the viral video that surfaced online, the presidential aide said Peter Obi has never donated the sum of N100 million to anyone or organization.
Daniel Bwala also stated that the borehole that Peter Obi constructed in the North was not a standard one.

“He never gave N100 million, I know he gives N5 million. Peter Obi has never given beyond N50 million. Even the N50 million he gave, I can tell you the circumstances behind it. Let me tell you, he came to the Northwest and North Central after election and places where they didn’t have water and he wanted to create borehole.
