Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser on media to the FCT minister and former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike recently reacted after another chairmanship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party stepped down for the candidate of the All Progressive Congress in Abuja. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that the move was orchestrated by the FCT minister.
The news regarding the decision to step aside from the chairmanship race for an All Progressive Congress (APC), candidate by the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) generated mixed reactions after the reports went viral across various social media platforms.
The incident, which sparked massive public attention, has been followed by yet another stepping aside by a candidate of the PDP. The PDP Abuja Municipal Area Candidate (AMAC), Honourable Zadna Dantani also stepped aside for Honourable Christopher Maikalangu of the APC.
