The images, shared by X user @GuyMr10, highlighted the scale of competition for even basic jobs in Nigeria’s commercial capital.
In the post, the author wrote that the turnout made it understandable why some women resort to selling their bodies to survive. “At times you just can’t blame the girls that sells their body to feed, the system failed them,” the post read. The photos captured a long line of applicants stretching across an open space, with many waiting for hours under the sun for an interview that would only take a handful.
