Popular Nigerian cleric and leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a cautionary yet encouraging message to the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) of Nigeria, commending his efforts in strengthening the nation’s security while warning of potential adversaries seeking to undermine his position.
Speaking during a recent prophetic session, Ayodele said, “Nigeria’s CDS, you are doing well in your duties; Your commitment and efforts to protect the nation are being seen and appreciated; However, be aware that there are people plotting to gang against you. Stay vigilant, rely on wisdom, and continue with integrity in your service.”
The cleric stressed the importance of combining divine guidance with strategic leadership; He noted that while dedication and competence are essential for security leadership, challenges from internal factions or rival interests are inevitable; “Leadership, especially in the security sector, comes with both recognition and opposition; Those who wish to destabilize your progress cannot succeed if you remain steadfast,” Ayodele added.
According to him, the warning is not meant to discourage, but to prepare leaders at the highest levels of the military and government to navigate political and institutional pressures with caution and foresight; He encouraged the CDS and other security chiefs to maintain discipline, build strong alliances, and avoid complacency, while ensuring transparency and accountability in all operations.
