My Commander Died In My Hands, A Family Man, Sacrificed Himself, They Killed Him Like A Fowl

A tragic attack has once again shaken a growing community near the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), just a few minutes away from the city center. On Monday evening, armed men invaded the settlement, killing one person and leaving several others injured. This comes only days after dozens of residents were kidnapped in the same community.In a video shared by AIT News, according to residents, they are now living in constant fear, as kidnappers choose victims at will. With no police outpost in the area, people feel abandoned and exposed. One resident asked bitterly, “Would you leave us like that so that they will be coming to kill us and catch us like rats?”

Another resident, who gave his name as Black Panda, shared a very emotional story. He said his commander, a man with a family, died in his arms during the attack. “The death of my commander, who died in my hands, a family man, left his children at home, and sacrificed himself on the road, they killed him like a fowl,” Panda said. His statement reflects the pain and anger of many residents.

In protest, community members barricaded the main road leading into their area. They demanded urgent action from the authorities to secure their homes and protect their lives.

Residents are now pleading for the government to step in before more lives are lost.
