Mbah Has Lowered Last Flag Of PDP, In Life, Never Take The Loyalty Of Others For Granted- Shehu Sani

Senator Shehu Sani, a former legislator from Kaduna who represented Kaduna Central in the National Assembly, took to his official X account on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, to express his reaction to the news that Peter Mbah, the governor of Enugu state, had resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The governor of Enugu state, together with a significant number of his cabinet colleagues and supporters, reportedly resigned from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and joined the All Progressive Congress (APC).

This information was reported by Channels Television. Senator Shehu Sani, in response, stated that the People’s Democratic Party’s tenure in the Southeast region has come to an end. Despite the fact that several of the founding founders were still living, he claimed that the party showed no appreciation for the region’s loyalty.
