Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser on media to the former governor of Rivers State and FCT minister, Nyesom Wike recently reacted after a federal high court in Abuja struck out Isaac Fayose, the younger brother to former Ekiti State governor Ayodele Fayose’s case against him. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, a counter suit was filed against the complainant.
Isaac Fayose, the younger brother to the former governor of Ekiti State and Elderstateman, Ayodele Fayose was recently on the spotlight after he dragged Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser on media to FCT minister, Nyesom Wike before a federal high court in Abuja.
The case, which had been ongoing for several weeks, caught public attention after it was struck out by the court on Thursday November 27th 2025, to the amusement of many including the defendant, Lere Olayinka.
The disclosure, which was made on his official X handle, also indicated that the senior special adviser to the former Rivers State governor was not pleased with the antics of former governor Ayo Fayose’s brother as he filed a counter suit.
However, having struck out the lawsuit, the federal high court, Abuja fixed February 4th, 2026 as the date for hearing the counter suit filed by Lere Olayinka against Isaac Fayose.
These were the words of Lere Olayinka which he shared on his official X handle,
“Abuja High Court strikes out Isaac Fayose’s suit against Lere Olayinka. Hearing on Lere Olayinka’s counter suit against Isaac Fayose adjourned till February 4, 2026.” He wrote.
