Large Scale Of Attack As Iran Launches Revenge Missile Attack On Israel After Assassinations

According to Al Jazeerah English, Iran has launched a retaliatory missile assault on Israel, describing the operation as revenge for the killing of senior security figures, including Ali Larijani, as tensions in the region continue to escalate.

The overnight attack saw Iran deploy advanced multi-warhead missiles targeting central parts of Israel. The strikes hit areas around Ramat Gan, near Tel Aviv, leaving at least two people dead and several others injured. Local reports also indicated widespread damage, including impacts near a train station in Tel Aviv.

Iran’s elite military unit, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, confirmed responsibility for the operation, stating it was carried out in retaliation for what it called the “martyrdom” of Larijani and others killed in recent Israeli air raids.

Concerns have also emerged over the effectiveness and timing of air raid warning systems, after it was revealed that the two victims — an elderly couple — were unable to reach shelter in time despite having access to a safe room.
