The former governor of Kano state, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has taken to his official X account on May 2, 2026 to react to claim that he has agreed to become the running mate of the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi.
This came ahead of the upcoming presidential election in 2027.
In the report that surfaced online, the former governor of Kano state said that he has not declared his intention to run for President and he has not endorsed any candidate.
Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso stated that all speculations about him are misleading and unfounded. The former presidential candidate also clarified that the African Democratic Congress, ADC has not zoned its presidential ticket. Kwankwaso stated that he has not made a final decision on the issue concerning his political future.
According to Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso on his official X account;
