The Coalition of Northern Groups has presented a detailed account of the alleged devastation linked to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s activities, citing massive loss of life and destruction of public infrastructure across Nigeria’s Southeast region.

In an interview on Trust TV, Jamilu Charanchi, National Coordinator of the Coalition of Northern Groups, outlined the scale of destruction he attributes to the detained IPOB leader. “He has claimed over 1,200 innocent lives, including more than 400 security personnel, burned over 100 police stations and caused the destruction of property worth over N450 billion across southeast,” Charanchi stated.

The Northern Groups leader painted a grim picture of the impact of secessionist violence on communities and security forces. The figures presented suggest widespread attacks on law enforcement infrastructure, with over 100 police stations reportedly destroyed through arson attacks.

Charanchi emphasized that the human cost has been particularly severe among security personnel, with more than 400 officers allegedly killed in violence linked to pro-Biafra agitation. The economic toll, estimated at over N450 billion in destroyed property, represents significant damage to public and private assets in the affected regions.

The Coalition’s assessment comes as debate continues over Nnamdi Kanu’s detention and trial. While his supporters view him as a freedom fighter advocating for Igbo self-determination, critics like Charanchi argue that his actions have resulted in devastating consequences for innocent civilians and security forces.Continue, Full, Reading>>>>
