It Takes a Strong Woman to Manage Wike, I Don’t Want to Go Further Than This — Wife of Wike

According to a report by The Sun Newspaper, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Wike, wife of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, spoke about her routine, interests and family life during an interview at the Nigeria Air Force Base, Goodluck Jonathan Golf Course in Abuja. She was among the invited guests who participated in a golf event organised as part of the International Road Crash Victims Africa programme, which featured cycling, walking and golfing activities.

She explained that her presence at the event was to support the President of the Court of Appeal, who lost her first son to a road accident in 2011 and has since used her foundation to promote road safety awareness and responsible road use. Justice Wike noted that the outing was an opportunity for colleagues and friends to stand with her in remembrance while also promoting a message that affects many families.

She also spoke about how she balances her demanding schedule with moments of relaxation. She said she unwinds mostly at home by watching television, especially news channels, because staying updated helps her avoid gaps that could affect her work in court. She added that she enjoys good meals, watches football matches when she can, and swims occasionally, although her tight schedule often limits her leisure time.

Asked what it takes to manage a public figure often described as strong-willed, she gave a brief response, saying, “It takes a strong woman to do so. I don’t want to go further than this.
