During an interview on Channels Television on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, Kola Ologbondinyan criticized the membership figures announced by the All Progressives Congress and warned against what he described as irregularities in internal party processes ahead of the 2027 elections.
Ologbondinyan made the remarks while discussing internal democracy, party registration exercises, and the political atmosphere ahead of the 2027 general election.
According to him, “It is strange that the APC can register 6 million people and declare a result of 11 million. If that is a plot for 2027, they should know that Nigerians will resist them.”
He further stated, “For the ADC where I function, we are conscious of the fact, and we spread it a lot among party members and leaders that we don’t want geometric results.
