Iran Warns “The End Of The War Is In Our Hands” And Demands Full US Withdrawal From Gulf Region

According to a report by Anadolu Agency on Saturday, March 14, 2026, A senior Iranian political and military figure has outlined Tehran’s conditions for ending the ongoing conflict with the United States, saying the war will conclude only if several key demands are met.

Mohsen Rezaei, a member of Iran’s Expediency Council and a former commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, said Iran expects compensation from the United States, firm guarantees against future attacks, and a complete American military withdrawal from the Persian Gulf.

Rezaei stated that maritime access in the region would remain restricted until those conditions are satisfied. “The Strait of Hormuz will not be reopened, and no American ship has the right to enter the Gulf,” he said.

He argued that the long-standing American military presence has been a major source of tension in the region. “The American presence in the Persian Gulf has been the main cause of instability over the past five decades,” Rezaei said.

According to him, regional security can only be achieved if control shifts fully to countries located along the Gulf. “Security cannot be achieved unless the United States leaves the Persian Gulf and the countries of the region take control of the Strait of Hormuz,” he said.

Rezaei maintained that the timeline for ending the war ultimately depends on the fulfillment of Iran’s demands. “The end of the war is in our hands,” he said.

He added that two primary conditions must be met before hostilities can stop. “The war will be over when, first, we receive all our compensation from the United States, and second, when we obtain a full guarantee for our future,” Rezaei said.

Rezaei also claimed that Iran currently holds the advantage in the conflict and has challenged American dominance in the region. “Post-war Iran will not be the same as it was before, and its stature in the region will be greater,” he said…See More
