According to a report published by The Times Of Israel on Sunday, December 28, 2025, the Iran-linked hacking group Handala claims to have leaked information from the phone of Tzachi Braverman, chief of staff to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
According to the group, the leaked files include Braverman’s contact list, which allegedly contains phone numbers of senior officials and other key figures within Netanyahu’s inner circle. The list reportedly also features contact details for the Prime Minister’s wife, Sara Netanyahu.
Beyond contact information, the materials are said to include various videos and official documents. Among the documents is one related to emergency procedures that were implemented during the June conflict with Iran. The exact content and implications of these files have not been independently verified.
Handala, which is believed to operate with backing from Tehran, has previously claimed responsibility for cyberattacks targeting Israeli officials and institutions. In its announcements, the group often frames such attacks as responses to Israeli policies in the region.
The alleged leak highlights the ongoing cybersecurity challenges faced by Israeli government officials amid escalating tensions with Iran.
