The executive Governor of Imo State and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Hope Uzodimma has been pictured together with the executive Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, at the inaugural meeting of the National Economic Council (NEC) Ad-hoc High Level Committee on Livestock Development in Abuja on Tuesday.
The executive Governor of Imo State and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Hope Uzodimma stated on his verified Facebook page on Tuesday; “I attended the inaugural meeting of the National Economic Council (NEC) Ad-hoc High Level Committee on Livestock Development, convened in furtherance of the resolutions of the 155th meeting of NEC.”
He stated further; “The committee chaired by the Governor of Kebbi State, His Excellency, Dr. Nasir Idris, reviewed and aligned on the terms of reference upon which the committee was constituted.”

He added; “We also examined the strategies, policies, and interventions required to transform the livestock sector into a sustainable, modern, and competitive industry, that will fully align with national economic priorities.”
The Chairman of Progressives Governor’s Forum noted; “In Imo State, we are well positioned to leverage these national initiatives, with deliberate measures and policies already in place to ensure our people benefit meaningfully.”
