Solomon Dalung, a former minister, has spoken about the arrest of former AGF Abubakar Malami over allegations of terrorism financing and illegal possession of firearms
In a video shared by Symfoni TV, Dalung said when he first saw the weapons displayed, including Ak-47 rifles said to be found in Malami’s house, he was surprised. He said he wondered what Malami had planned to do with such weapons
Dalung stated that after making his own investigations, he found out that no gun was found in Malami’s home and it was actually a registered pump-action shotgun that was found in the house of Malami’s son.
In Dalung’s words: “Look at what they did in the case of Malami. If you see the armory with AK-47 that was paraded as what was found in Malami’s house, even I began to wonder what was he going to do with that. But when I went and investigated, it was a pump-action shotgun which his son had that was picked in his son’s house. But you can see the story they created”……See More
