Reports indicate that President Trump had instructed his War Department to prepare for a possible operation in Nigeria, citing what he described as a “genocide of Christians.” The remarks have triggered widespread outrage and condemnation across the country, with many viewing them as an unwarranted interference in Nigeria’s domestic affairs.

Among the most vocal critics is Fani-Kayode, who blasted the statement as both inflammatory and hypocritical.
