Dokubo: Iran Has Never Attacked Another Country, & It Has Never Removed The Govt Of Any Country

In a recent video shared on Facebook on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, Niger Delta activist and Kalabari chieftain, Asari Dokubo, spoke about his views on international conflict and global power dynamics, particularly relating to Iran and its conduct on the world stage.

According to Dokubo, “Iran has never attacked another country, and it has never removed the government of any country,” as he outlined his perspective on Iran’s foreign policy and military history, contrasting it with the interventions of other global powers.

Dokubo argued that Iran’s military actions have largely been defensive rather than offensive aggression, especially when compared to nations that have invaded or toppled governments abroad. He suggested that understanding such distinctions is essential when evaluating international relations and the motives of different governments.

Scholars note that Iranian leaders have historically stated that the Islamic Republic does not seek territorial conquest or offensive wars. Some Iranian officials have publicly claimed their country has not initiated a war of aggression, particularly since the 20th century, and emphasize defensive postures when faced with perceived threats.

Dokubo’s comments come amid ongoing discussions about Middle East tensions, nuclear negotiations, and regional security. He used his remarks to challenge simplistic narratives about Iran’s role in the world, urging his audience to consider historical context and geopolitical complexity.

He added that nations with larger global militaries have often engaged in direct interventions or regime changes, shaping world affairs in ways that have led to prolonged conflicts. Dokubo’s statement reflects his broader critique of foreign interference and advocacy for sovereign respect among nations.
