British-Iranian comedian and actor Omid Djalili has welcomed the European Parliament’s push to designate Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization, stating that such a move “will make Iran a pariah state, will make it officially a terrorist state” and severely complicate any business dealings with the regime. He argued that labeling the IRGC a terrorist entity would not only hinder economic ties but also signal global solidarity with Iranians risking their lives.

This comes as he has repeatedly called for “no more negotiation” with a regime he sees as imploding, one that funds global terrorism with oil revenues while massacring its own people.
