The former lawmaker who represented Kogi West and one of the chieftains of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Senator Dino Melaye has taken to his official X account on March 29, 2026 to react to a table showing the total votes of Alhaji Waziri Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
In the table that surfaced online, the former Vice President of Nigeria got 6,984,520, the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi got 6,101,533 and the former governor of Kano state, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso got 1,496,687.
The post surfaced online after CHANNELS TV reported that the former governor of Kano state, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has resigned from the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP and will be joining the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
Reacting, Dino Melaye stated that Nigeria is too big for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He said Tinubu is a totalitarian.
