Dino Melaye Reacts After FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike Said He Didn’t Call The Military A Fool

The former lawmaker who represented Kogi West Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Dino Melaye has reacted after the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike said he can’t disrespect the Nigerian Army.

The reaction of Dino Melaye was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Friday, November 14, 2025.

This is coming after the FCT Minister said he didn’t say that the military is a fool.

Here is what Nyesom Wike said;

“Those who are talking and writing junks saying I called the boy a fool should go and find out what happened. What I meant is this, you can not be carrying out an illegal order. I didn’t say military is a fool”.

However, Senator Dino Melaye has now shared his thoughts after the post surfaced online. In a statement that he shared on his page, he said with eleven microphones, the FCT Minister attempted to deny what he said with no microphone.

Here is what Dino Melaye wrote on his official X handle;

“With eleven microphones, he attempted a denial of what he said with no microphone”.
