According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he raised serious questions regarding the comments made by the security adviser.
Many were left stunned after the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu in an attempt to pacify the families of the abducted school children in Niger State, disclosed that they were doing fine and will soon be released.
The comments, which garnered widespread traction across various social media platforms, drew massive reactions as many were left bewildered at the comments from a man tasked with the responsibility of protecting lives.
However, Chidi Odinkalu, the former chairman of the national human rights commission while reacting to Mallam Nuhu Ribadu’s comments, raised a cryptic question that indicated that the security adviser might not only be complicit, but an accomplice.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that children in captivity were supposedly doing fine, according to the security adviser. This, meant that he might have first hand information on the captors.
The statements from the National Security Adviser came few days after some intercepted armed group in Kwara State confessed that they were armed by the office of the same man.
However, the statements from Chidi Odinkalu indicated that there were more explanations to be given to the people than was in the public domain.
