In an interview with The Nation on Saturday, October 4, 2025, the Delta State tycoon—well-known for marrying across Nigeria’s diverse ethnic groups, including Igbo, Yoruba, Bini, Ijaw, Fulani, Urhobo, Isoko, and Itsekiri women—explained that transparency and fairness have been the backbone of his family life.
Tesigimoje, who recently hosted a lavish wedding ceremony attended by his other wives, revealed that his household thrives on structure and cooperation. The billionaire described how his wives, all dressed alike during the event, danced, laughed, and welcomed his new bride with joy.
“At my last wedding, all my wives came dressed in the same attire. They danced, they laughed, and they welcomed the new bride. Can you imagine that? If there wasn’t unity, they would not have been there smiling,” he said.
He dismissed the widespread notion that polygamy breeds jealousy, stressing that honesty is key. “People often think polygamy breeds jealousy, but if you are honest from the start, your home can be harmonious,” Tesigimoje added.
The businessman further revealed that his household runs on a clear system that dictates which wife shares his bedroom at a given time. According to him, this order is respected by all, and the women’s cooperation ensures peace and balance.
“Even in sharing my bed, my wives are cooperative. There is an order as to who comes into the master’s bedroom, but the cooperation of the women makes it even more seamless,” he explained.
