Wike Has To Rope In APC Scribe, Chair, NSA, Next Person He Would Fire Bullets On Is Tinubu -Abubakar

‎According to a report by Daily Post, on Monday January 26, 2026, Dr. Sani Abubakar, a frontline political analyst, has described the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, as a political liability in the ongoing Rivers State crisis.

‎He said Wike is deeply involved in constant conflict and appears to thrive on political tension, according to him, the minister is more focused on fighting the Rivers State governor than supporting stability or governance in the state.

‎He explained that this obsession with control has continued to worsen the political atmosphere in Rivers and noted that Wike has dragged several powerful national figures into the crisis.

‎He said the minister has involved senior officials of the All Progressives Congress, including party leaders at the national level and pointed out that even security authorities have been indirectly pulled into the dispute.

‎In his view, this approach has expanded the conflict beyond Rivers State he warned that Wike’s confrontational style makes him a burden rather than an asset.

‎He said such behaviour creates division within the ruling party and distracts from governance and development, according to him, the continued power struggle has little or nothing to do with the welfare of ordinary people in Rivers State.

‎Dr. Abubakar further warned that Wike’s pattern of conflict could eventually turn against President Bola Tinubu himself, he said anyone who constantly seeks confrontation will always look for a new target.

‎”Wike is someone who is addicted to creating conflict and trouble, and for the fact that he is just concentrating to fight the governor, he has to rope in the national secretary of the APC, indirectly, the chairman of the APC, even the National Security Adviser. He is a liability. The next person this man would suddenly fire bullets on is the President,” he said.
