Daboikiabo Warmate, a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has weighed in on the rift between the governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike.
According to reports, the long-term feud between the Rivers State governor, Siminalayi Fubara, and the former governor, Nyesom Wike, has resurfaced as both parties struggle over the leadership of Rivers State.
However, during an interview with TrustTV News, the PDP chieftain, Daboikiabo Warmate, condemned plans by the Rivers State House of Assembly to impeach Governor Fubara.
He made reference to the eight-point agreement signed by Governor Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, stressing that even the son of the former governor will never obey such a listing.
According to the video, “Even the FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, whose son that he wants to hand over the House of Reps seat to in Obio/Akpor, will not obey that listing.”
