Atiku’s Aide Reacts To Bayo Onanuga’s Comment After Peter Obi Said He Will Welcome Trump’s Invasion

Paul Ibe, the Special Adviser on Media to the former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Waziri Atiku Abubakar has taken to his official X account on Friday, December 26, 2025 to react to the statement that was made by Bayo Onanuga after the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi said he will welcome Donald Trump’s invasion in Nigeria.

This came after the US military attacked terrorists in Sokoto state.

Paul Ibe reacted after Bayo Onanuga confirmed that the Nigerian government was aware of the attacks on terrorists in the North.

Bayo Onanuga wrote;

“Now that the US is cooperating, we would do it jointly. Just as the President emphasized yesterday before he gave the go-ahead that it must be made clear that it is a joint operation and it is not targeting any religion”.

Reacting, Paul Ibe stated that Onanuga has done what he accused Peter Obi of doing.

According to Paul Ibe on his official X account;

“It is not your fault that you are serving in a hypocritical government as squealer, its chief propagandist. Not to worry, Peter Obi said he has forgotten and forgiven you for doing what you wrongfully accused him of doing”.
